I came across this article today. So often, language is overlooked in the research process and professional writing instruction focuses on “the economy” of communication. When naturalism in language is invoked it is often at a writers expense, and subjected to deterministic models for pop culture. The terms modernism and postmodernism are trotted out and politics sans nationalism rapes the linguistic corpus in the name of rooting out essentialism.
Of course, this serves an economic model of institutionalized bias in the name of gender and health, as if people and creativity are unlimited resources to be consumed. Take note alternative health and rember that a historic fact is after the fact.
